Rules:
- SEASON ONE – May 14th to June 21st
- Singles players challenge other single players within their designated playing level
- 3.5’s challenge 3.5’s; 3.75’s – 4.0’s challenge the same
- Coach Martin Parkes will assign you your playing level bracket, based on current MRC rating
- YOU will then challenge anyone within that playing bracket
- GOAL- All players will have at least 5 matches during the 7-week period that count toward scoring
- Players will play best of 3 sets, if tied 1 set a piece, 3rd set becomes 10-point tie-break
- 1st 2-full sets are played to 6 games, 7-point tie-break will be played at 5-5 in any set
- Each match will last no longer than 90 minutes. This also includes matches played on non-MRC courts.
Scoring:
- All games won count towards scoring. Scoring is cumulative
- 2 bonus points for a completed match win
- 1 bonus point for a completed 3-set loss
- All matches are NO-ADD scoring
- Utilize 5-min warm up for matches
Fees:
- $75 entry fee for non-members for 7-week season
- $65 entry fee for members
- Includes a can of balls per match
- Semi-Finals and Finals singles tourney matches to be played on MRC courts together – targeting June 20th
